We’ve got some exciting events in the works for the Fall semester.

Paul Thomas Annotated @ Bryn Mawr Film Institute

The project team for Paul Thomas Annotated: in the Margins will be presenting their work in progress after a special screening of One Battle After Another (2025) and inviting audience members to contribute to their ongoing work analyzing Paul Thomas Anderson’s filmography. Presenters will include project team members Cameron Boucher (LITS), Naveah Diaz (’26), Olivia Flores (’26), Alice McGrath (LITS), Hilde Nelson (History of Art), and Professor José Vergara (Russian).

Data Art: Community-Made Visualizations

Map, weave, and craft your data! This drop-in event invites visitors and community members to contribute to collaborative data visualizations that we will build together in real-time, using textiles, string, beadwork, and more. We’ll also explore some of the creative and vibrant ways that artists, designers, and data analysts are using digital and material tools for data storytelling.
